I drove down from Raleigh to purchase a car from Lowery Ltd. I called before I left to make sure the car I wanted was still there. It was not until I had driven the hour and 45 minutes to their location did they inform me that the had sold the car the previous day. We had already agreed on a price and I had a bank issued check for it. A big waste of time.
