It's clean smaller than others that I have been to has mostly window seats counter seats waiters and waitresses are courteous.
A off duty employee comes inside Restaurant. They all were cursing and arguing about something she did while on duty. The cook had to step between two workers to make them separate. They did not care that they had customers. Her problem should had been talked over with manager in office. Did not get our order right. The waffle House had a juke box that was not playing. But the cook and waitress were playing music behind counter that was very loud and had horrible lyrics. The food was Great, but will not be returning.
I must say of all the place I stopped at driving from Florida to New York this place was or of my best stop for food. My server was friendly, courteous and extremely helpful during my stop especially with my order and helped me saved a few dollars at the same time. My order was made as I requested and it was served to me warm and presentable.
I had the typical Waffle House experience. If you are not sure what that is google Jim Gaffigan Waffle House. Our waitress at 6 am began working at 9 the night before, and was working until 10. By the time we left we knew what the chef made, how long he was there, what shift managers made, all without asking any questions, just listening to them talk. I ordered over easy eggs and got scrambled, I ordered grits with cheese and they forgot the cheese. You don't go to Waffle house for great food and great service, you go for the experience.
When I told my SO that I wanted to stop at Waffle House for breakfast he asked was I sure, since not all Waffle Houses ate created equal! The last time we want to one was many years ago. We were pleasantly surprised with this one. It was nice, clean and warm. Annie was very friendly and professional. She made our dinning experience very pleasant. Anytime we travel back up from SC to home we will be sure to stop there.
